On the Caribbean Sea between Mexico to the north and Guatemala below, English-speaking Belize (www.travelbelize.org) boasts the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. It also has abundant wildlife, Mayan temples, miles of unspoiled coastline, and a jungle filled with chattering toucans.
Belize weddings can take place on an island, in the rainforest, and at resorts, where packages include rooms, license, minister, cake, and flowers. At Belizean receptions, tacos made with roasted pig add a local delicacy.
